New Course on UDL and Inclusion for educators in the UK and Indonesia

A new online professional development course has been devised by colleagues at the University of Worcester and Universitas Indonesia that aims to provide lecturers in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with basic insights regarding UDL and its application for course design. The course consists of 4 short modules, should take about 2 hours to complete and is free to access with the unique opportunity to offer feedback to improve the course for the future.

The course was funded by the British Council as part of it Global Partnerships initiative which is currently supporting the project titled ‘Strengthening Higher Education in Indonesia and the UK through Universal Design for Learning’.

INCLUDE’S New Journal

Learn about the freshly launched International Journal for Universal Design and Universal Design for Learning. The call for papers from conference participants for the first issue closed on December 9, 2024. The inaugural issue will be available online early in 2025.

ICE 3 in Mumbai

The International Conference on Education 3 is being hosted by the Department of Special Education, Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University in collaboration with Jai Vakeel Foundation and Research Centre from January 9-11, 2025 in Mumbai! The theme for this year’s conference is “Embracing Diversity: The Intersectional Experience,” focusing on how various identities intersect and influence the educational journey of learners. This is a fantastic opportunity for educators, researchers, and advocates to come together, exchange ideas, and push the boundaries of inclusive education.
