Maynooth University (Ireland) to hold 3rd International UDL Symposium – Changing mindsets, changing practice
This year’s theme is INCLUSION: Changing mindsets, changing practice. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework for addressing the educational needs of diverse and variable learners in many settings across many stages of life. The purpose of this UDL International Symposium is to create an opportunity for those at all stages of their UDL journey to come together and share their learning.

Upcoming Conferences Looking for Submissions (posted 30/1/25)

The European Access Network is hosting its annual conference at the University of Galway, titled Inclusion by Design, the event takes place on 10th and 11th June 2025 and the Call for Papers is now live.

ADCET’s (Australian Disability Clearninghouse on Education and Training) 3rd UDL Symposium is being hosted at the University of Sydney on the 25th and 26th June, 2025. The Conference theme is Navigating Authentic Assessment and Learning in a Digital World. The Call for Abstracts is now on the conference website.

New Course on UDL and Inclusion for educators in the UK and Indonesia

A new online professional development course has been devised by colleagues at the University of Worcester and Universitas Indonesia that aims to provide lecturers in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with basic insights regarding UDL and its application for course design. The course consists of 4 short modules, should take about 2 hours to complete and is free to access with the unique opportunity to offer feedback to improve the course for the future.

The course was funded by the British Council as part of it Global Partnerships initiative which is currently supporting the project titled ‘Strengthening Higher Education in Indonesia and the UK through Universal Design for Learning’.

INCLUDE’S New Journal

Learn about the freshly launched International Journal for Universal Design and Universal Design for Learning. The call for papers from conference participants for the first issue closed on December 9, 2024. The inaugural issue will be available online early in 2025.

ICEQ 2025 in Dubai

Join us at the 8th International Conference on Education Quality (ICEQ) in Dubai, from April 15-17, 2025! This year’s theme is “AI Innovations: Future Foresights in Empowering Public Organizations and Enhancing Quality in Education.”
